Important Notice:

Please note that as of July 23, 2024, there will be no further intakes into our Personal Programs. This includes Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Mindfully Managing Anxiety & Uncertainty (MMAU) and Deeper Mindfulness.

All those courses that have already started, including the MBCT course that started on July 17, 2024, will continue unaffected.  All registrants in cancelled courses will receive a full refund.

Over 20,000 participants have benefited from these programs since they started in 2011. This is an enormous testament to our staff and faculty. It simply could not have happened without their dedication and commitment.

We anticipate that more detail regarding the future of our Professional and Certificate Programs will be announced shortly. We are committed to supporting every current registrant in their studies and will be in touch with each of you.

Although we will no longer be directly involved in the delivery of personal training, we are optimistic about the evolution of our place in the mindfulness community. We will continue to develop and deliver mindfulness programming for underserved and at-risk communities across the city of Toronto and beyond through our Community Programs. This is a growing area of need, so we are very thankful for the individuals and organizations that have supported us so generously. We also have some exciting research and training work underway internationally which will continue.

Please note that the Centre is no longer accepting new enrollments into its Professional Development Programs. Where there is sufficient interest, courses will be made available to provide current registrants (with completed prerequisites) the opportunity to complete their certification requirements.

If you are currently pursuing a certificate and have not already done so, please get in touch with Fani at (education@mindfulnessstudies.com) to explore your options.

If you are interested in any of courses as stand alone professional development for a certificate of completion, please let us know.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive space for our 2SLGBTQIA+ community and welcome any feedback to continue to create inclusive caring spaces of belonging.
