Resilient Leadership Training

We are proud to be a partner in the Resilient Leadership: Workplace Mental Health Training, a free, comprehensive mindfulness-based program designed to equip leaders in British Columbia with the skills to navigate workplace challenges, prevent burnout, and foster a psychologically healthy work environment. 

This training is supported by the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia (BC) and co-developed with the Canadian Mental Health Association (BC). The program provides practical tools for enhancing leadership skills, improving workplace mental health awareness, and implementing effective strategies to support teams.

Module 1: Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace (self-paced)
  • Learn about the mental health continuum and psychological safety 
  • Explore how workplace factors influence mental health 
  • Understand role as a leader in fostering a psychologically safe workplace 
    Module 2: Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace (self-paced)
    • Recognize signs of mental health challenges in employees 
    • Understand the role of prevention, stigma reduction, and early intervention 
    • Learn strategies to create a psychologically safe workplace 
        Module 3: Mindful Leadership for Workplace Mental Health (4 live sessions)
        • Develop self-awareness and emotional regulation 
        • Learn mindful communication strategies for managing difficult conversations 
        • Apply mindfulness techniques for resilience and stress management 
            Module 4: Creating a Safe and Supportive Workplace Culture (self-paced)
            • Implement learned strategies into daily leadership practices 
            • Explore trust-building and supportive communication techniques
