Learn to manage anxiety & prevent the relapse of depression
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is an evidence-based group therapy providing tools and strategies for preventing depressive relapse, as well as reducing acute depression, anxiety and stress.

Intake Interviews (via telephone): Thursday, November 10, 2022 | 6pm – 8pm ET and Monday, November 14, 2022 | 6pm – 8pm ET and Wednesday, November 16, 2022 | 6pm – 8pm ET
Orientation & Session 1: November 17, 2022 | 6pm – 9pm ET
Sessions 2-8: November 24, 2022 – January 12, 2023 | 6pm – 8:30pm ET
NOTE: December 29th is the 4-hour silent retreat | 5:30pm – 9:30pm ET
Please try to reserve January 19, 2023| 6pm – 8:30pm ET in your schedule as a make-up session in the rare case of a session cancellation

Insurance receipts can be given from the following healthcare providers to registrants from the provinces listed below:

  • Registered Psychotherapist (RP): Ontario and Quebec
  • Registered Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work (MSW RSW): Ontario & Quebec

If you live outside the provinces listed above, you may only take this program for professional development reasons. You will be required to complete a specific Professional Development Questionnaire and Informed Consent. If requested, you can receive a certificate of participation signed by the Centre for Mindfulness Studies upon completion of the program.
