Managing Mindfully this Holiday Season 21–123–05
The Centre’s pay-what-you-can Managing Mindfully series was launched in March 2020 in response to the Covid crisis. We continue to deliver these sessions to help our community during particularly difficult periods. This live one-hour online session will focus on how mindfulness can help during the holiday season. For ongoing support and connection, please join us on facebook for our live #MondayMeditations or register for one of our 8-week personal programs.
Managing Mindfully this Holiday Season is for anyone who is feeling the effects of our current situation and seeking opportunities for care and connection. On December 10th Patricia Rockman, MD CCFP FCFP and Jeremy Finkelstein, RP will guide a series of mindfulness practices and discussions to increase our sense of connection both with ourselves and with others during this potentially challenging period. Self-care is an essential component of managing mood states and there is significant evidence that caring for others increases happiness and well-being.
Note: These sessions are open to everyone – no matter if you have participated in previous sessions or are new to the group! No mindfulness experience required.
Please join us as we all work together to maintain our mental and emotional health, enhance our resilience, and care for ourselves and all beings. Happy Holidays!
